Location, Location, Location
How to choose a location for your personal branding photoshoot?
This is where we get to have a lot of fun - choosing where to meet for the shoot! Is there an area that you love? Say Notting Hill, full of colourful houses? Or how about, Shoreditch with the edgy street art? Or do you want photos in your office/at your desk? Wherever it is and it aligns with your vision – let’s make it happen!
Here are some questions to help you narrow down where you might like to go. These are all launching point questions so you can have a brainstorm before you get in contact. You do not need all of the answers before emailing me but this might help get you started.
What vibe are you going for?
Think about the vibe you want to convey - professional? Quirky? Serious? Happy? Do you want something quirky, colourful, rustic, professional, serious, happy etc.?
Where will you use these photos?
Where you choose to use these photos might help you decide where to take them. Ideas for how you might use these photos include your website, social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter etc), conferences, books and more. Do you want to feature in your photos your brand new lovely office? Or do you want to show off you are based in London using a landmark in the background? Or do you want it to be location neutral so the photos can be used for a variety of purposes? These are all possible!
Do you want to go to MULTIPLE LOCATIONS?
This is completely dependant on you and it is absolutely something we can do. It all depends on how long you’d like the shoot to go for and how many outfit changes you might like.
Do you travel for shoots?
Most definitely! I am based in London but happy to travel to you, so as to make you feel comfortable and at home in front of the lens.
Can you suggest locations?
Absolutely. My top suggestions are wandering through the streets of London, hanging out in your garden, grab a coffee at your local or you being a badass at your desk.
